1963 Allis Chalmers D10

About This Project

We had the pleasure of restoring another fine tractor for one our great customers. This Allis Chalmers D10 Series 2 Tractor was made in 1963. Replacing the Model B and the CA. The D10 and D12 models were identical in every way, The difference was wheel / axle spacing on the D12, it was made for 2 row cultivation and could be adjusted.

D10 was made for 1 row cultivation. The 30 H.P. D10 was made from 3 different series (series 1,2,&3). Starting in 1959 lasting until 1967. Each series add more style and upgraded hydraulics. The D-10 was a very successful tractor for Allis Chalmers until the later 1960’s when farmer were looking for larger horsepower tractors at a competitive cost, as the implements were growing in size for larger acres.
